Law courses in India are very popular among the students. In India there are various government and private law colleges/universities where one can pursue his/her study in Law. Candidates can get admission in various law courses such as LL.B, Integrated LL.B, LL.M and doctoral courses. Admission Procedure
The admission into B.A.LL.B. five years integrated course will be offered through 12th class marks. (not below then 45%)
Entrance Exams
There are numbers of national level and state level entrance exams though which candidates can enter in the various law courses. The candidates can appear in CLAT (Common law Admission Test), AILET (All India Law Entrance Test),RULET(Rajasthan University Law entrance test), LSAT (Law School Admission Test), etc entrance exams. Some universities conducted their own entrance test for offering admission in the Law courses such as AP LAWCET, TS LAWCET, MH CET Law and many others.
GENERAL RULES :
1. The candidate shall apply for admission in L.L.B. First year on the prescribed form rind may be required to appear at his own expenses for interview before the --rincipal.
2. Admission of a student to the college shall be subject to the conditions prescribed the Ordinances/Rules of the University of Rajasthan and Bar Council of india/Gor.
3. At the time of submitting the application form the applicant must furnish his T.C.Originat and attested copies of all document. i.e. mark sheet and certificates from secondary examination to qualifying examination. The original must be produced for verfication at the time of admission.
4. Acceptance of application form does not guarantee admission. Admission will be made strictly on the merit basis. i.e. on the basis of mark obtained at the qualifying examinations.
5. All application forms will be received at the college. Applications of candidates who do not fulfil the minimum conditions of eligibility and incomplete admission form will be rejected. Forms sent through post will not be acknowledged.
Required Enclosures for Admission
1. Four passport photographsfor indentity card/library card.
2. Photostat of original mark sheet of qualifying exam.
3. Photostat of birth certificate.
4. Original Transfer Certificate & Character certificate.
5. Photostat of caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/SBC
6. Original/Migrationce certificate, Original mark sheet of qualifying exam, original caste certificate & birth certificate in case of fresh enrolment in University Of Raj. (If passed from other Board/University.
7. The Original fee receipt should be kept intact till the course.
Minimum eligibility for admission to the LLB first year
A candidate who has taken the Bachelor's or the Master's degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Medicine/Management/Engineering/ Nursing/Agriculture or the degree of Shastri/ Acharya or the degree of Ayurvedacharya/Aurveda Brihaspaaati of the University or any other University recognized for the purpose by the syndicate with full course prescribed for the degree and secured a minimum of 45% marks (Exculding and concessional marks In aggregate prescribed for the examination for the aforesaid degree shall be eligible for admission to LLB First year course. Candidates belongings Scheduled CAste/Scheduled Tribe/OBS, a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimumun percentage og marks for admission shall be admissible.
